Siliana Consulting Founder and CEO, Nyambura Ruhiu-Mboggo, Set to Speak at OVC Diaspora Conference

Nyambura Ruhiu-Mboggo, the Founder and CEO of Siliana Consulting LLC and Siliana Africa, is confirmed to speak at the upcoming OVC Diaspora Conference. She will be participating in Business and SME’s Forum Panel.


With a background in project management and consulting for minor and major projects, Ruhiu-Mboggo boasts extensive experience in various industries. Her expertise spans project management, compliance, corporate finance process transformation, accounting ERP system implementation, and strategic planning.


Having worked with major organizations such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Starbucks as a project manager, Nyambura has an in-depth understanding of regulatory compliance practices. She has managed projects that involve setting up new businesses in the US and East Africa, and performing due diligence work for market access, sales, and procurement.


As a seasoned organizer of high-level international events, Ruhiu-Mboggo has created numerous networking opportunities. She has facilitated management advisory, marketing and operational management, event and workshop preparation and presentation, corporate dispute resolutions, and community development.


She is currently serving as Vice President of Strategy Business Development for the African Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest, where she is dedicated to promoting African trade and investment, as well as diversity and inclusion within organizations in the region.


Aside from her illustrious career, Ruhiu-Mboggo is a mother of two and enjoys cooking and playing golf in her free time.


Nyambura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University, Los Angeles, graduating with a GPA of 3.86, and a Master of Science in Management with an emphasis in Project Management from Kaplan University, where she was an honor student with a GPA of 4.0. She is also working on obtaining her Project Management Professional certification.
