George Wachiuri is the CEO and founder of Optiven, a leading brand in the region that encompasses several successful SBUs, including Optiven Real Estate, Optiven Construction, Optiven Homes, and Optiven Water, as well as GMC Place in the hospitality industry and food franchises Eagle Peak Spur and Panarottis.
With a goal to create 30,000 direct employees by 2030, George is dedicated to economically and socially transforming society by empowering Kenyans and Africans in the Diaspora to invest in the real estate sector.
He holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, and a Certified Public Accountant. Wachiuri’s entrepreneurial journey was not without challenges, including losing 15 businesses. However, his passion and entrepreneurial spirit never faded, and he finally found success with Optiven, a company focused on empowering business people to
reach their full potential. He is dedicated to unlocking opportunities for others and spearheads the George Wachiuri School of Mentorship, which encourages upcoming and existing Entrepreneurs.
Wachiuri is a celebrated author with 4 books to his name, including “Soaring like an Eagle,” “Unleash Your Full Potential,” “After The Plunge,” and “The Optiven Way.” He is also a philanthropist, motivational speaker, lecturer, and church elder.
