The OCV Diaspora Investors Expo is excited to announce the participation of Dr. Sam Bore, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas, as a panelist on the Community Affairs and Wellness Panel. The Expo, which brings together thought leaders, experts, and investors from around the world, will host the panel discussion to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the diaspora community.
Dr. Bore holds a Ph.D. in Counseling with a specialization in child/adolescent and marriage/family counseling from Texas A&M University – Commerce. He is currently an Associate Professor of Counseling and Chair of the Counseling Program at the University of North Texas, Dallas, in addition to running his private practice.
As a native of Kenya, Dr. Bore possesses a deep understanding of the immigrant experience. He has dedicated his career to researching and working with immigrants from diverse backgrounds, providing much-needed support and guidance. Dr. Bore’s expertise makes him an ideal addition to the Community Affairs and Wellness Panel, where he will share his insights on topics of interest to immigrants.
